Our friendly and supportive management and team provide a family feel and a home from home approach to childcare focusing on lots of love, nurture and care as priorities alongside our child centred curriculum.
We are proud of creating lots of bright, beautiful and exciting spaces for the children to play and explore providing the highest quality childcare to children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
We take great pride in being part of the vibrant town of Tunbridge Wells and are looking forward to extending and creating further links within the local community with Primary schools and additional services to further support our families with local exciting opportunities.
We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged three to twelve months, toddlers from 12 to 24 months & toddlers aged 24 months to 36 months, and lastly preschool aged three to five years. Due to our rooms being equipped especially for these ages, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.
We are very lucky to have extensive outdoor spaces in the nursery and a separate area for both babies and the older children to play and explore. Our outdoor environment offers a rich multi-sensory environment that is full of fun, stimulating and motivating activities for the children and we have specifically created indoor garden areas so all the children are able to enjoy the outdoors all year round.

💂♀️Rememberance day💂♀️
Today we went to visit Tunbridge Wells War Memorial to pay our respects and lay a poppy wreath to remember those who fought for our freedom. The children were intrigued by the other wreathes, crosses and messages, asking us to read them out and wanting to learn more. ✝️
We listened intently to The Last Post, and were very respectful and quiet for the 2 minute silence. We were very grateful to be stood very close to the mayor, and watched him lay a wreath too. After the 2 minute silence, a few people came over to us to compliment the children’s behaviour and say a big well done, and let us know how happy it made them to see the children be so respectful! ❤️
Back at Nursery, the team and many children took part with the 2 minute silence too.
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.” 💂♀️

We will be kicking off our fundraising activities on Wednesday with a breakfast bar which will run through to Wednesday to Friday mornings. This will then be replaced by a cake sale in the afternoons.
The rooms will be planning an individual challenge/activity that they will be engaging in on the Wednesday, they will provide further information surrounding this shortly.
Thursday we encourage all children and staff to wear their pyjamas.
Friday we encourage all staff and children to wear spots or yellow.
We are really hoping this will be a big success and all support would be greatly appreciated for such a special cause.
Best wishes,
All of the team at MPTW🐵💛 x ... See MoreSee Less

Bonfire night safety ✅
Bonfire night can be magical and exciting, however comes with many dangers. By preparing and being safe, you can enjoy all the fun!
Yesterdays learning activity was to promote fire safety with the pre-schoolers, with a big focus on standing back from fires, having an adult nearby for help, and never ever touching or playing with fire. The children were introduced to the fire safety circle, and discussed how they plan to stay safe whilst watching firework displays.
The children gathered some loose parts to help create their fire, with many children naming colours they can see and recognising that wood helps fires to burn! Josh spoke with the children about how some fires can have blue flames and that these are the hottest types of fire. 🔥
Have a safe bonfire night all!🎆 ... See MoreSee Less

Last week we celebrated 2 huge achievements…..3 years for both Ella and Rosie!
Ella is based in our Investigators room, supporting our 2-3s with their learning and development. Ella is a popular member of the team and always makes us laugh with her funny ways! Ella has big aspirations and goals to achieve and we cannot wait to watch her on her journey! 💛
Rosie is based in our discoverers room caring for the 1-2 year olds, supporting and nurturing them as they begin to make sense of the world around them. Rosie has excellent bonds with all her key children, their families, and is a well loved member of our team! 💛
Both Ella and Rosie are currently studying their level 3 courses with us and are due to qualify very soon! Thank-you for all your hard work ladies, we appreciate you both so much! 🥳🤍

At at a recent team meeting, we explored the curiosity approach and how we can use open ended resources to support children’s creativity and imagination.🔮
We set out some resources in the middle of the room, split the team into smaller teams, and set the timer for 7 minutes. In this time, the team had to collect 3-6 resources, decide what activity they would like to create, how they can make this suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and what learning intention is behind this activity.🧠
We think the teams did amazing, what do you think? 😍 ... See MoreSee Less

🍂Nature walk🍂
Today some of our inventors went for a lovely nature walk with the aim of finding lots of leaves and twigs! We started off walking to our local park, hunting and seeing how many leaves we could find. We also saw a bug hotel which was super exciting🐞🐛🐜
After listening to a story, we decided to head off and look for some different types of leaves and look at the size of the ones we found!🤩 ... See MoreSee Less

🪔Celebrating Diwali🪔
Across the Nursery, we have celebrated Diwali through varying activities. The investigators room have created their own henna and have designed their own patterns onto paper. The children learned that we use henna at Diwali to symbolize good luck, health, positive energy, and to express joy during the festival. Henna helps us to celebrate the Festival of Lights.🕯️🪔
